So, since the article here: https://itch.io/updates/update-on-nsfw-content - and Steam announcing similar 'precautions', it seems like the international community is being pulled into America's political stuff. People don't like to mix their smut and politics, so I'll keep it short, but "sexual deviancy" and enforcing rules like "sex should be for procreation" etc has always been about bigger agendas - oppressing queer people. Distracting people with 'shocking' and 'salacious'  news and events means they miss the picture they should be looking at. This is a corporate symptom on some much scarier stuff happening - so to my players and purchasers in the USA - please keep yourself safe!

But more personally, this action means I've gone from small purchases here and there (once a week maybe) resulting from around 20 browser plays a day, down to around 2 browser plays a day... so the maths looks pretty dire. This project has always been about highlighting some more vanilla story telling, western style artwork and bringing some variety to the nsfw gay narrative space - the purchases here an there have been a nice way to motivate me to keep more content and improvements coming.

So coming off a major code heavy update and getting hit with de-indexing is disheartening - it means I might recharge around some other projects and experiments - please be patient, while we all await where (or maybe whether) 'corporate' decides NFSW artist content should live.
